What to expect.
Our proven and comprehensive quality assurance concept was developed by IT specialist Johann Mayr together with GFT project managers and a selection of our best translation partners. The core element is a formal quality check that uses both individual and standardized review profiles. In detail, this includes deviations in numerical values, untranslated segments in the target document, punctuation, terminology and formatting issues, as well as inconsistencies within individual documents or across multiple documents.
GFT experts thoroughly review every completed translation based on predefined criteria and document any errors in a transparent and traceable manner. Software tools support our professionals in this process, enabling them to detect errors much more precisely than manual checking.
What process do we follow at GFT GmbH?
- First, we check the source document in our translation memory system (TMS).
- After delivery by the translation partner, the translation is checked using software independent of the translation memory system.
- Following this check, a TER (Translation Error Report) is generated.
- If the quality does not meet the level we define as standard, the text is revised by the translator. In this way, we ensure the consistently high quality you expect from us when you entrust us with a translation.
